The reason for the move was due to a widespread epidemic. The name \u201cBan Alue\u201d sounds strange and is in fact derived from the name of a tree which the villagers used as a remedy to cure sickness. In those days the hospital was far away and herbs were used as medication. In 2007 this village was established as a Gui Culture village and in 2009 it was opened as a tourist destination called Alue Homestay and was received the Homestay Standard until the present.<br \/>In 2013 the Department of Community Development organized trainings for the village and opened the village as a destination for natural dyed silk with a budget of 2,000,000 Baht. Ancient style houses, Village name sign were built and other aspects were added and the Tourism Authority supported the landscaping and renovations of touristic spots for 3-4 years running.<br \/>The communities activities presented to tourist are 1.
