An Irrigation Department Reservoir 5 km. away from the city on the Surin-Prasat Road. Huay Saneng is a reservoir with a high bank and the dam way is a paved road. It is a recreation spot for the Surin population and also used for the Province’s events as it is not too far from the city. Travel is convenient and there are also restaurants serving visitors which makes it a top-hit destination in the evenings for families. In the Irrigation Department premises is also a Royal Residence of Her Royal Highness The Princess Mother Phra Sri Nakarindara, Mother of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great.
