Situated in the National Park to the south of Chang Morb Village no. 14, Naeng Mood Sub-district on the Phanom Dong Rak mountain range. Originally called “Pha Jamniang” but was changed to “Tamor Roay” (Khmer language) meaning “a lot of rocks” (hundreds of rocks). Tamor means Rock or Mountain and Roay means hundred. It is a natural miracle where hundreds of rocks in various shapes are placed all over creating a most impressive scene.

In the past it was the site where Cambodian refugees settled between 1984-1993 and its importance is due to the fact that it is also the site where the Cambodian King and Royals stayed during the civil war in Cambodia. H.M. Somdet Norodom Sihanouk, late King of Cambodia, Prince Ronnarit and Prince Chakkrapong took refuge in this forest in the mountain pass Hill Area 538 (Phanom Beng Mountian) which is a pass between Thailand and Cambodia. Tamor Roay’s scenic point is the extensive rock plains on a hill with a view of Hill Area 538 and the town of Krung Samrong of Udorn Meechai Province of the Kingdom of Cambodia on a clear day.
Tamor Roay has rock carving traces of Rahu (Hindu Deity) devouring the moon which is a site for making offerings and asking for blessings
